Unsolicited Advice, the cause of all problems in our life. Well, okay it is not the cause of all problems but definitely some of them, right? When it comes to unsolicited advice, people suddenly feel the urge to thrust upon others to give them advice that might not be required/necessary, despite whatever “important” they might have.
They do not realize this until someone else does the same to them!… Instead of realizing what they have done, they go on to justify their stand. There are some, who try to give these advices thinking it will help them, but they have to think first if the person whom they are giving the advice really needs it.
Sometimes the best way to “advice” others would be NOT to impart any advice at all. Surprisingly, it is true and I have seen it work. In most cases, I have seen this happen when someone outside the family imparting his “wisdom” on a family he/she might know for only few hours. This is so true in India. I mean, come on people!… just because someone asked you few suggestions about anything doesn’t mean that you thrust yourself on the affairs of them.
People think that it becomes their birth right to poke their noses into other people’s business and give advices, which is totally unnecessary and completely defeats the purpose of the advice itself! Why can’t people just mind their damn business. It’s really frustrating when that happens. When someone wants your advice, remember if they think you are worth asking, they will ask you, until then just SHUT THE HELL UP!
