The Best Man …

Well tomorrow is Da Day… me officially becoming the “Best Man” for my best friend’s wedding. The interesting thing about this wedding is that, his girl friend is a Hindu and this guy is a Roman Catholic. Being an Indian, you need parents approval for your wedding. So in order to please both his parents and in-laws, he has agreed for two marriages. Don’t get me wrong the deal is that tomorrow, he will have the “Christian Wedding” and then on the next day he will again tie the knot to his girl friend in the more traditional “South Indian Hindu Wedding”. Yeah it does sound strange, but I think this is an ingenious way to get your parent (and in-laws) approval to get married to the gal you love. Strangely, it doesn’t sound too good.

Well, this is going to be very interesting for me and I am certainly looking forward to this marriage. Pictures of the wedding, the couple and the experience I had during this wedding are soon to follow after I come back.
