Ha Ha India… Blowed out India!!!

I think this is the correct phrase for the Pepsi ad should be from now on. I mean what the hell was that !!.. It was pathetic display of cricket. I had refrained myself from watching any of the cricket matches which involved India. The reason, I get all wind up (like I am right now) and went my frustration on a blog post (such as this) or on someone else!

The pitch was superb.. it was nicely prepared to aid the team batting first. Still India could do only 250!! What were the selectors and Dave Chapelle thinking when he picked Raina, Kaif and Munaf Patel “… hmmm lets see these guys are younger, not experienced to face the Aussies, so lets put them in the field and see what happens!” (I dont even want to go near Sachin!)

Has Chapelle gone out of his mind! Not to mention our “Wall” Dravid. He played a superb knock and so did Sewhag but why o’ why did the let Raina play before in-form batsman Dhoni and why did they not select Kumble for Patel !?

The bowling was ripped apart. It was nothing much less of “Blitzkrieg” from the Aussies. Except for Sehwag, Sreesanth, and Dravid nobody else looked like they wanted to win this match. Sreesanth, cleary bowling his heart out, did his job. He was flown the day before the match and came in and took wickets at the most crucial time. But due to lack of form or will power, the other bowlers failed to captialize on the hard work put in by Sreesanth.

I just hope, Dave Chapelle comes to his senses and prepares India better for the World Cup. And please o’ please SHUT THE INDIAN TEAM AD FOR NOW !!!
